Everyone is the architect of his own happiness
- Joseph Pilates

As a runner, Karen was initially drawn to Pilates as a means to improve her breathing control and flexibility. She soon discovered that Pilates was so much more, and had deeper benefits in both physical and mental wellbeing.

Karen has trained in Pilates for many years, both mat and apparatus, and has been fortunate enough to study under several eminent Pilates teachers from around the world. She possesses a unique skill set that not only allows her to teach the classical Pilates method to all ability levels, she also uses her specialised physiotherapy skills and experience to provide Pilates for those with neuromuscular disorders.

Karen is particularly passionate about using Pilates to assist individuals suffering with Parkinsons’ Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

It is the mind itself which builds the body
